Mary Lennox was dreadful. A bratty and egocentric child, she was sent to spend time with her uncle in Yorkshire. She loathed it. But when she discovers a secret garden and starts to care for it, a transformation takes place in her and her life. She befriends a local boy, the talented Dickon, and meets her sickly cousin Colin who had been kept hidden from her. Together, the three kids perform extraordinary feats that bring about change in themselves and those around them. The Secret Garden is a beloved tale that has stood the test of time.
